Il Santo Francesco

The leather bound book (cm 37, 259 pages) is a limited‑edition art book presenting Giotto’s twenty‑eight‑scene life of Francis of Assisi from the Upper Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi, newly rendered in contemporary digital form by Mathieu Vignon. Each image is paired with an art commentary by Luigi Miranda and the corresponding episode from Bonaventure’s Legenda Maior in Latin with Italian translation, alongside a contemporary narrative retelling by Gilberto Cavazos‑González, OFM.
